A friend of mine just finished a week of night float. Sleep deprived, mentally gone. I told him he needed to travel.
He said he didn’t have it in him to plan anything — he was going to call a travel agency.
Forget the agency. I got you.
He handed me his budget and his passport.
Don’t tell me where I’m going.
Based on what I knew about him, I picked something between adventure and total switch-off. Seychelles. I sorted the ETA visa, booked the resort, lined up the restaurants and the activities, and sent him a Notion doc with the whole itinerary.
He just showed up.

Everything we get asked.
What if I don't like where you send me?
The questionnaire and the call exist so we don't get it wrong. We ask about climate preferences, dietary needs, places you've already been, and what you actively don't want. If you've ever filled out a brief at work, this is shorter and more interesting.
Can I cancel?
The booking fee is non-refundable once we start curating. The balance of your trip cost is refundable up to 14 days before departure, minus any non-refundable bookings (some flights and hotels lock in early). We're transparent about which costs are locked.
Can I travel with someone?
Yes. Solo, couples, friends, small groups. Set the budget for the group total. The questionnaire asks about everyone going.
Where do trips go?
Anywhere in the world. Your dates and budget shape what's possible. We don't promise a region or a continent — that's the point.
How do I know the destination won't be terrible?
You'll get a packing list 48 hours before departure, so you'll know if it's hot or cold, formal or casual, urban or wild. You won't see the destination name until the airport. People who try it once almost always come back.
Do I have to use the camera?
No. The disposable camera is yours to use, ignore, or hand to a stranger. Most people end up using it.
Why should I trust you?
Side Quest is a small, private operation. The founder runs every quest personally for now. You can email or message us before paying anything — the contact details are in the footer. Talk to a human, then decide.
